Re: Ayuh...

You know it's been a little while since I've seen someone go off on Bond-o for the ayuh...

It happens several times a year that a new member thinks he put that there to be condescending and flips out.

Bond-o a maniac?? You want to poke him??

I think we all need a day back on the water pretty bad!! It's not even February yet :facepalm:

Re: Ayuh...

People. People. People. You are poken all wrong. The correct way to poke at Mr. Bond-o is to tell him that the Mercruiser 470 is the greatest motor ever created in the boating industry :). OK calm down I'm only kidding around (I think that comment might be more than just a poke). Sorry Bond-o, have a great day and keep all that great advice coming to us as we need it for sure. I always look forward to reading what he has to say.

Maineiac in exile to be exact....

Oh,.. badkins,... Don once posted a picture of the Ultimate I/O driveline, which I don't have a link to at the moment,...
It's the Glorious 470, with an electric Stringer drive....

Put that in a Bilgeliner, 'n you'd really have a POShip....:D :D

I'd ask if they teach proper English in central NY, but since I have family in the area and therefore know better, I won't bother.

Re: Ayuh...

I must admit, the "ayuh" caught me off-guard more than once early on until I said it out loud a couple times and had an a-ha! moment :)

Sadly I do possess one of his "favorite" drives...

Re: Ayuh...

Good evening everyone.I'm new here and appreciate all the great information provided.I recently received this email joke and thought it would fit this thread perfectly. It is not meant as disrespect to anyone and hopefully taken as humor.

A truly touching story?.SCOTTISH COMPASSION

A man was sitting on a blanket at the beach. He had no
arms and no legs.

Three women, from England, Wales, and Scotland, were
walking past and felt sorry for the poor man.

The English woman said 'Have you ever had a hug?' The man
said 'No,' so she gave him a hug and walked on.

The Welsh woman said, 'Have you ever had a kiss?' The man
said, 'No,' so she gave him a kiss and walked on.

The Scottish woman came to him and said, 'ave ya ever
been fooked, laddie?'

The man broke into a big smile and said, ?no?.

She said, 'Aye - ya will be when the tide comes in.'
