Alex Ryan was born 7/12/06 at 6:18am. 6lbs 14oz.
After some initial respiratory problems that scared us pretty bad for about 10 hours, he has been given a clean bill of health. Either his lungs went into mild shock, or he didn't get all the fluid out of his lungs at the start. Hospital staff didn't communicate the situation well, but we finally cornered someone who could explain what was happening so the panic was eased. He's now our miracle baby.
As I type with one hand, he is fast asleep on the other.
Mom is doing very well, and big sister is exited and telling everyone about her baby broder!
