It's been a while since I posted on Iboats. Gave away one boat and sold the other. I moved to Myrtle Beach, and it can be pretty expensive to go boating here. Well I started going fishing in the inlet with a friend of mine. It got me hooked. He has a 12 ft jon boat with a 3.5 HP motor on it. It is so easy to tow/trailer/launch. Works great for fishing the inlet.

I just bought a 12 ft john boat with trailer and a trolling motor for $400. Need to find a small outboard for it. It is completely fiberglass. There is no manufacturers info on it. It is a good starting point.

Hope to put it in the water tomorrow to check for leaks and see how it sits. It's not pretty, but a small fishing boat isn't suppose to be. I'll try to get some pics up when I get some time.

Glad you have a boat again! Since you are no longer on Murray do you mind revealing your favorite fishing spots? :D

Did most of my fishing while I was growing up there - where the two rivers meet. When I lived in Irmo, all we did was party on the lake.
