Hi I have a 1999 evinrude 4stroke 5hp. I took it out for the 1st time since I bought it off a guy. It seems to be running great, though I noticed it wont idle very low and after a few hours out on the lake my buddy noticed it was smoking. So I took off the lid and noticed a like milky oily stuff kinda spitting out the carborater! I was really worried, but it still kept running and never got hot, I checked the oil and its still all good. He said it seems to be back firing but why idk! what gives, any ideas??
