Before the upgrade there was a post about backup cameras, and I thought I would post a picture of what my after-market camera shows at the landing....obviously not everyone has one on the older vehicles and this gives an idea of what you would see if anyone was looking to add one for this purpose.

Does it make hooking up to the trailer coupling easier?

At first not so much. It has taken some practice learning the depth perception. After a couple of times I am now able to get it spot on without any trouble at all.

The stock camera on my F-150 has been spot-on from the start for hitching up the trailer. The main difference is the height of the camera compared to his (mine's mounted up by the tailgate handle). The angle helps out with the depth perception a ton. I can put my hitch ball within a 1/2" of anything, every time.

Yep. My Silverado camera is built into the tailgate handle mechanism and the higher angle makes it so much easier to line things up. First try is always close enough to push the tongue a little and it's set.

I wish that mine was mounted that way, but being aftermarket it is mounted about as high as I think that I can go.
