bad alarm on control box. Replacements???

I'm looking for a supplier for the alarm/buzzer (pn:583891) on a side mount OMC control box with the red plug (1977-1994). My battery went dead trying to start in really cold weather and I switched terminals to my trolling motor battery to start the motor. Once it started I left it running while I switched the terminals back to the main battery so the motor would charge it up. Apparently this is a nono because my buzzer went off and then smoke started coming out of my control box. When I opened it up to inspect the only thing I saw wrong was my alarm melted. I'm assuming it was a piece of crap or something was wired wrong from the factory (brand spanken new control box).

contact a dealer, can't find a replacement #, but you could use any 12 volt horn.
