bad fuel pump

Hello, I have a 1993 Johnson 90 hp vj90tlets. I believe my fuel pump has gone bad it seems as if it is running out of gas. I put it on a separate tank to eliminate the boat side and it is still doing it. I found out that when you pump the fuel bulb it starts running good. So here is my question the vro pumps are about $400 I am wanting to bypass the vro system and put the oil in my fuel. is there another pump I can replace it with or would I have to buy one of these pumps and bypass it. thanks

You can get a kit to rebuild the gas side of your VRO if you want.
You can eliminate the complete VRO system and run premix, run a search, there are several posts on how to do it.
