Reed valves usually work fine or chip or break. If a reed has chipped or broken there will be a spray of fuel/air out of that carb.

Your problem sounds like float or inlet needle troubles.

Yea I do have fuel dripping out the carbs. Is it possible for reeds do make it not rev? It also coughs at idle and drips fuel out of carbs. Replaced CDI and a coil new plugs new diaphragm in fuel pump fuel water separator and in line filter. Just wanna know if it could be a possibility. Thanks for the reply apretiate it.

You were given good advice in your other thread.
You can follow it and diagnose/troubleshoot the problem(s), or you can keep guessing and throw money at it.

You need to check compression, spark, and throttle operation. Probably need to rebuild carbs and do a link n sync. and check the timing.

You going to need a service manual to get through it.

Think I figured it out the CDI module was toast I noticed cylinder 1,2 had weaker spark than 3,4 I had a extra box laying around and she fired right up gonna try it in te water today reved really good better that before hopfully I got it. And compression was 150 on all 4. What's normal?

150 is excellent compression, near factory new.
