Hey everyone,

I'm going to be cutting and expoxying in my new transom this weekend, which means I need to cut and install a new female piece for the bailer plug.

1.) What is the technical catalog name for this piece?

2.) Any tricks for getting the female piece water tight inside the transom?

1) Garboard plug or drain plug

2) Coat the inside of the hole with epoxy so it's sealed before you install the plug receiver. You'll need to drill the hole a bit oversize and then possibly re-drill to fit the plug.

Nope... I'm still welding a dive ladder, A-frame for towing sonar, building seating, tank racks, new axles for the trailer.... I should be finished about 2009 Spring.

Plus I don't think the hair's coming back without Rogaine or a wig :)
