bait tanks , anyone with experiance please

hello ,im designing the new floor of my old boat ,and im trying to decide weather or not to put my 13 gallon ultra tank inside my carpeted fish and ski ,or build a removable bracket /mounting platforum on the outside off the transom.............do the bait tanks/live wells splash alot ...this one is one of the better units with a teflon lid ,but still wondering if they splash alot of anchovy water around while under way..

bad;dont know about your tank.i hung a bait bag from west marine on my transom.28 gal,1/2 scoop,all plubming outside,works great,minimal die off,no splash or chovies in boat.good luck with your project.----ed cooper

any problem with them getting contaminated by fuel etc during docking .

no bad; the bag sits way above waterline.as long as you have a tank you could mount hat outside your transom.if you have a swim platform use it for support.---------have fun--------ed
