Banks are some of the worst offeneds in our area, the one in our community was really bad I made a couple of trips to the main office to complain about the flag not being flown, come to find out the flag was offencive to 3 of the girls that worked at our branch, they were Jehovah Witnesses. It did not take a lot of people saying they would change banks to get the problem resolved
Call the local Amvets and the like... tell them, they will apply additional pressure.

The local manager probably can't spend $.01 without twelve memos and a pint of blood, they may need a flag donated or they have one on order from a supply company...

A senior management seminar involving months of debate and "understanding of customers feeeeelings"? Jeeesh. This is the result of too many chiefs and not enough indians. Take the flag down!

lol gil, that looks like a "Cookie cutter" response if I've ever seen one. I bet that response is just chunked out to take the subject line of your email message and reply.

Sean
Update. As of this morning there has been no further response from BOA and the disgraced American Flag still fies at BOA Clermont, Fl. They just don't care and will get to it when they get to it. Please go away sir. End of story.
Have you contacted the local veteran's assoc or the like?

I'm not kidding when I mention this....how about contacting the local Boy Scout Troop. I was camping and had several troops camping next to me. They were camping so that they may properly retire all the old flags they had collected from the community. There is a whole ceremony and ritual they perform to "properly" burn a tattered flag and retire it from service properly.

You could buy a flag for them and provide it to the branch manager insisting they take it and ask for the tattered one in exchange. Then provide the tattered one to the local Boy Scout Troop

These are all suggestions.....and I agree with you that it's a disgrace.
