I redid the inside of my boat last year and am thinking of painting it in the off season this year.
My fishing buddy has his own body shop so I can do it for free but all he has is base/clear and am wondering how that will hold up.
The boat is trailered and rarely in the water for more than 8-9 hours at a time and it is an 81 Sea-nymph aluminum so I am not gonna enter any boat shows but it is currently a tannish/yellow/orange that I have grow to dislike alot.
I will be painting over the existing paint so primer isn't an issue, painted alot of raw aluminum and the acid etch is nasty stuff.
Has anyone tried the B/C and how does it hold up??
