Looking to get new bunk carpet and since I have a gazzilion rewards points with BassPro with their outdoor visa card I was thinking of going with their stuff. It has a few reviews all good, but whats the differance between carpet and their padding? Any thoughts?

If you have free money at Bass Pro go ahead and buy it. There can't be that much difference between their padding and outdoor carpet, if anything better. I recovered my bunks in outdoor carpet, which was fairly inexpensive but works.

I used Lowes outdoor carpet for my bunks as well. carpeted back, and its made to get abused by sun, water, etc. just put it on a few months ago, so i dont know how many years to expect it to last. I did all the carpet on my trailer for around 10-15 bucks, and that was 6 bunks and 2 wheelwell liners. I would say buy the carpet somewhere else, and get something cooler from BPS! lol.

I did my bunks with Bass Pro Shops bunk padding. Thick stuff. Not sure if outdoor carpeting is as thick, but I'm sure it's more than sufficient.
