Bass Tracker steering questions..

I am buying a "87 16ft. Bass Tracker that may need to have the steering assembly and cables replaced (steering frozen). Anyone out there own one that can tell me part numbers, or any info on this subject? Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!<br />Thanx, Steve

Go back to where the steering hooks to the engine and unhook it from there and see if the engine moves from side to side with ease.<br /><br />Most of the time when it is "Froze" up, it's a bad cable/s.<br />Do not skimp here, replace the cable/s cause you do not want one to break under power I grant you, BTDT.
