I have found a 1998 17' Pro Team Bass Tracker with a 75 H moter, 2 Hummingbird depth finder's, trolling moter, with matching trailer. This boat has been kelp under a shead it's entire life, with a cover. It is so clean the storage holes are still shine clean. The carpet, wheel, gas feed, all the places that would have ware look new. the battery, fuel hole looks new.
The guy is asking $6500.00 for the boat, my question, is this a fair price, it seems high for the modle however the boat looks so good he feels he can hold out and sell. One more thing this is a rivited boat, not welded. I have never owned one, some say not to buy because of this. I went over the boat very close and no found dents, or rivited problems and saw no sign of leaking. I would like some imput on price and the fact the Tracker is put together with rivites.

Thanks

Re: Bass Tricker Pro

Well,I have a 1995 Pro Deep V-17,it has rivets,I got it used,it does not leak an ounce of water, even if at the lake for a 3 day weekend.Starts up everytime, catches fish, everything works, spent about $3,000 on it.Guy was in a bind though, seen them for $6,000.As long as it starts and runs good.Get him to take you to the lake for a test drive, then you drive it,and trailer it,and you pull the plug out of it,and see if it leaks.$6500 is a lot in this economy. He'll budge.Good luck.
