Never having sealed batteries before can you charge them with your regular battery charger?
I assume if possible I would have to use the low charge setting not the 10 amp quick charge.

You should get the correct charger with the setting for the type battery you have.
The assorted versions of AGM vs flooded vs sealed (which can mean a lot of things...) have different tolerances for max charge level and max charging current.

I did go to my Dads and brought back his charger which has a setting for deep cycle batteries.
When I go back in the house I am going to look up the charger manual online to see what it says.
The battery I have says 12 v 50 ah on it.
