Battery Connections?

I have read on numerous posts not to use wingnuts, what would be the best alternative that is semi corrosion resistant? I have a new regulator coming and want to ensure that it lasts.Thanks --'95 115 Johnson 60 degree

Stainless steel nuts with star washers are great.<br />Also clean the cables at the battery and the engine.<br /><br />DHP

A smear of vaseline or any anti-corrosion dielectric grease on the terminals during assembly helps prevent future corrosion.
