Need some thoughts from you guys. I am going to install a volt gauge on my boat. I was going to wire it directly to the battery so i get a true reading. Will this draw to much from the battery while it is sittibg in the driveway. Sometimes I may go two weeks without taking her out and i dont want to have to worry about a dead battery when I finaly get the chance.

Re: battery draw

Install it in line with the ign. switch or the battery selector switch if you have one. Yes direct to the battery will discharge the battery over time.
