Battery isolator wiring to 1992 OMC with seperate rectifier

Checked a lot of posts They say wire ALTERNATOR output to centre post of a 3 terminal diode type isolator I think they should read to the RECTIFIED output which connects to the + post of the starter solenoid & goes on to + of starting battery

why not posting??

If you attach the Alternator to the POS of the Starter Battery, That will be the Only Battery that will get recharged.
Attaching to the Center of the Isolator will charge Both Batteries.

Wait 10 seconds and then Press "Refresh" before deciding your Post was rejected.

For your app, you are correct Sir, I think!! See/follow drawing plz as I not sure we're all on the same page?

I do believe however typically, most "they's" are referring to "alternator output's" due to the more common integrated reg/rec's in both the I/O pulley ran alt's and the discrete modules in OB's. Just a theory though.....

Edited print.......PNP's(Q1,Q2) in above image were wired wrong! SCR would have never turned on.........hahaha, boiled that battery!!
