I recently bought a 1989 Ranger 374V. Currently it has 3 batteries installed which need to be replaced. Two are group 27 and one group 24. It appears that one of the group 27 is the cranking battery and the other two for electrical needs. I want to replace all 3. My question is can I use one AGM battery and replace the others with a standard deep cycle marine batttery? I'm thinking to get one Duracell AGM SL34 MAGM and two Duracell Marine 24 DC. Is this feasible or should all the batteries be the same 'type'?
