I recently purchased an boat with an OMC v6 4.3l with an everstart 24ms starting battery in it. My question basically is if this battery is strong enough to run a radio for a while without it getting too low to crank over a V6 engine? I really don't want to get stuck out on the water with a dead battery...any suggestions would be appreciated.

Battery capacity is a mixed bag. When a battery is new it will last a lot longer then when it's not. You have a group 24 size batter but no mention of cranking amps and the age. I would say if your battery is no more then 2 years old, has been taken care of during storage and is at least 700 CCA then your probably OK. That being said, you will be running a radio without an amp, and not real loud for no more then 3 hours before you start back up.

Now if you want to really make sure, get a second battery, battery switch and run the radio from it. I could get more into it but depends how far you are willing go for having fun.
