When the battery selector switch is turned to #1, the starter acts like it isn't getting enough power and just makes the clicking noise. The battery isn't dead though. If I take this battery and connect it to switch #2, the engine kicks over immediately . I replaced the battery cables for battery #1 but that didn't make any difference. My battery selector switch (Guest) was manufactured in 1997, so, it could be bad, but in taking it apart, I didn't see any corrosion on the copper plates or the selector plate. I may replace it anyway, but don 't have confidence that this is the issue. Any thoughts as to what might be going on here?
