I just got a 92 Bayliner Trophy and the guy had the battery on charger ( I ran the boat before the weather went bad) anyway I've got three wire back there Neg and Pos. are marked the third black is not marked is that the alternator? Thanks

Will need more information. What kind of motor, year? How many batteries (just one)? Someone will have the answer!

Thanks It's a 150 Force, as I said the Neg and Pos. are marked but this black one is not I assum it is for the alternator but don't want to screw it up. I do appreciate your help thanks

Rolling,<br /><br />I do not believe your Force has an extra wire for the alternator.<br /><br />The third wire is probably for a dual battery set up.

either trace the wire and see what it connects to OR ask the guy you bought it from. I would pursue option two if I were you.
