bayliner 24 - 25 foot

Hi all,
I bought this boat about 3 weeks ago.

The outdrive does not go up or down and I have not really ran the motor more than 2 minutes, it seems to run OK.?

At this time I have tied the outdrive up with a rope and have tried to get the worm screw out with no success. I've removed the base allen screws but the whole thing does not come out. The electric motor was not on the assembelly, I did try and turn the internal gear but it did not do anything I turned it many times both ways. Anyways, as you all can see I've got a lot to do. Here are my initial pictures. I plan to fix the trailor make sure the outdrive is good and fix the lower helm. I also want to add new railing all around if possible but for sure in the back the current rails are low. I need to fix the lower helm the wheel is removed?

Have you spent all this money and time and have no manual?
Those VP OD's are bullet proof, but its the little things (like everything else)

Does anyone know how I can tell what the exact model of this boat is.???

I also need to know how to remove the worm screw that lifts the outdrive? At this point I have the black box on the top of it off and have turned the gear but nothing happens. I've also removed the alen screws from the base but it wont budge?

What should I do..?
