Bayliner Aluminum?? Nope - Crestliner

A friend just called and asked me about a 1955 Bayliner aluminum boat he found. Anybody have any experience with them?

The first Bayliner of any configuration rolled off the assembly line in June of 1961. They were of plywood construction, not aluminum. So your friend is getting bad information.

Ah! Now it's a Crestliner. Thats better. I know those were pretty good boats. This one has a hardtop deal forward and the back is open.
