Bayliner capri 88 15' windshield?

The boat I am about to purchuse currently does not have a windshield or anything resembling a windshield frame. would this mean the boat came with a vinyl/plastic windshield?

The boat has a 50 HP would I need a windshield?

Also how can I find a replacement.

Pic would help. Are you sure it is a 15' and not a 16'?

I think I can picture what this boat looks like and if anything it just had two small plastic deflectors. I wouldn't think they'd be necessary. It is notoriously difficult to find boat windsheilds because they seem to make them for a certain design while it's in production and that's it. However, you can't get much more common than a Capri so you'd have a good chance of finding them or something that will work on eBay. I got the complete windshield for my boat off eBay and it was from something completely different and I was able to make it work perfectly.
