bayliner help

I am trying to find out more info on a boat i just got. The HIN is B1JB16CFE585. Id like to anything anyone can tell me. I know its a 1985 but i was told it was a 20 foot but it says 21 on the regi. also what model this is. is it a 2050 or something similar? i look up 2050 on the internet and all it shows is cuddy's. mine is a open bow.

Double check the HIN, should be starting with 3 letters

None of that really helped me much. Basically all im trying to find out is what model i have. ie: if its a 2050 or 2052 or whatever its suppose to be. I have tried to contact bayliner but have had no response. I know you can figure out what model by the 7th and 8th character of the Hin but i have no way to figure out what they mean. bayliner website only goes back to i think 1996.

if it's a capri serie it could be a 2150 BR
does it look like that ?

i cant find a whole lot of info on a 1985 bayliner capri 2150 BR. Is this a rare boat or something?

I too have just bought myself a Bayliner and found this site to be amazing with the information and help everyone gives. I found at the bottom of the boating forums page if you click on the Bayliner Boats link it takes you to a page specifically geared for Bayliner Boats and at the top of the page their is another link for Bayliner Specs. From here they have each type of Bayliner made for each year dating back to I believe late 70's early 80's. Look around and hopefully this will be able to help you out. It helped me figure out exactly what model mine is and by searching on another forum in here I was able to find the customer service number and am calling this today to order a manual for my Bayliner.
