I'm trying to identify the exact model of my Bayliner, which I should be able to do from the hull number. Anybody have the Bayliner magic decoder ring?

There didn't seem to be any information on the web site, I tried posting the same question in the forum there, we'll see what pops up.

Re: Bayliner Hull number

My boat is a 1989 (Capri?) 19 ft.

From the information I could gather, Bayliner made two different 19 ft, open-bow models with outboard engines in 1989, the 1900 BR (CG), or the 1901 BR SKI (CL).

Is this correct?

How do I find out which one my boat is?

Re: Bayliner Hull number

Why not just call Bayliner directly themselves or send them an Email with the HIN, I'm sure they can tell you.

You can always call your local Bayliner dealer and they can help you figure it out.

;) Kevin

the ski model has more of a shallow hull, lower profile.
the reg bowrider has higher sides, deeper Vee.
