Bayliner Tachometer Needed

I have a 1987 Bayliner Capri and the tachometer is fried. Does anyone have one or know where I can get one? It says Thomas G. Faria Co. on the back, but I went to the website, and I couldn't find it there.<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Clayton

have you tryied ebay? or the bayliners oweners club www.boc-web.org. what does it look like. is it the square or the large round

I sent my blown tach to Faria website and they sent it back as new including a new glass for about $26. Great deal.

It is a square one with US Marine on it. I tried Ebay, but nothing yet. I will contact Faria to see if they can repair it.<br /><br />Thanks, Clay

Both USboat and West Marine sell Faria Tachcometers. You can probably find a generic one that will fit your dash. Also both of these outlets have online shopping.

I saw that one. Unfortunately, that one is different and it is for a 4 cylinder or OMC 130. I put in a request to Faria (the makers of the tach) to see if they could repair it. I should hear something tomorrow.<br /><br />Clay

Did you try to contact a Bayliner Dealer, you might pay more but they should be able to order the factory replacement.

I have a Force 85. I tried to go to the local Bayliner supplier, but no one carries that particular gauge anymore. I just found out that I need a speedometer as well.<br /><br />Clay

Marine Trading Post in North Fort Myers Florida has an old semi trailer full of those, used.<br />239-997-5777.<br /><br />I don't know if they ship,but I saw them the last time I was back there.
