I have power to the switches in and out but nothin. there is + power to the switches in the center pole. when the switches are depressed all poles to the switches go hot. all wires go + hot when depressed. I have purchased a service manual but nothing there on trim tabs Any body got a wiring diagram ???

as bayliner does not make tabs we need to know who made the switch and the HPU or if the tabs are lenco electric ones.
wire colors to the switch are always good as well

Below is a link to the Bennett troubleshooting page. You probably have the boat leveler system, and while they look different they have nearly identical wiring so the troubleshooting method works for both.

http://www.bennetttrimtabs.com/trouble.htm

Thanks agian for the help. Checked for a ground ...and nothin.. found the ground wire disconnected. Switches and pump work goood but I think I may need to bleed the system. i opened both lines when removing the pump (thats when I found the Ground wire disconnected) and when tha tabs are going down now any resistence will stop them. can take two fingers and hold the tabs from going down. How do you bleed these or is something else wrong ???

It was working fine and then it just stopped. I'm not sure if the wires that were disconnected were supposed to be connected or not. Do you know how tight the top needs be down on the pump in order for it to work?
