Bayliner trophy 2002 with verado 150 re power

Hi i am looking at re powering my trophy 2002 with a 150 hp verado and am looking to see if i a making right move. I have found a used motor at the right price with low hrs but am slightly nervous about the verado technology. Any thoughts please ? Also if I wuss to proceed what prop would be best fit. A good general performance prop allowing full revs with good economy and decent speed. Thanks guys

Mercury has been building and shipping Verado for over 10 years. At what point does "new technology" become proven?
