Hello, i have a 01 capri 215lx and it has a VDO dash cluster with most of the gauges not working. These dashes are notoriously poor. What can i do to fix or have it repaired?

start by troubleshooting what is wrong.

do the gauges have power? have you verified the grounds? have you checked continuity on the wiring? have you ohmed out the senders?

however since gauges are typically daisy chained together, i would look at the power wire or the ground wire feeding the daisy chain of wiring.

My understanding is that folks would send the whole electronic assembly to VDO for repair. It does not sound like the best option in the world, if there is an easy fix. there are also some aftermarket repair places ( ats4solutions.com )

Depending on how good you are with electronics, you could take it out and see if you can trace the problem(s) down. My understanding is that grounds go bad.
