Well, today I had the wierdest thing happen. We were taking our boat into our storage bay (2007 175 BR) as it will not be used for about 4 weeks. Normally we tarp it except for travelling into town, as we live on a gravel road. I met a minivan on the way into town, and it threw a rock and completely destroyed the port side glass of our windshield. When we were cleaning up, I looked really close at it and I think that it is a piece of flat glass. Is that correct? If so I can probably get the local glass guy to cut a piece and replace it as the way it broke it seems like it is only safety glass. Am I right in thinking this way?

Thanks in advance for all help.

What does the corresponding starboard side piece look like? If it's flat, you're golden, and you can use that piece as a template for the port side.

It looks to be, the walkthrough looks like it is curved, but it is hard to tell on the starboard. I will take a level to it today and see if it is. It is the best straight edge I can think of.

Not able to find any through ebay. Had to go to the dealer. Just for all's information, the window is in fact slightly curved, so it had to be bought.
