Im heading down to sarasota for some R & R.. gonna do plenty of fishing and 99% of it will be from the beach/surf. with 1 day planned on a charter boat. My question is what are some tips to fishing the beach/shallows? I have fished down there before with decent luck on live shrimp catching whiting, but im looking to catch something different, frankly I got tired of getting 1 bite and losing the shrimp really fast or just wasting the shrimp on a small whiting fish... Any thoughts or tricks for the beach specifically Lido beach,little pass area? what bait do you use?
