Bearing cage removal - 1992 Johnson 25hp

When I pull the prop I see the bearing cage. I see oil leaking from the outside of the bearing cage.

To pull it off do I use the threaded holes there up close to the prop with a puller, or do I have to undo the two bolts down in the lower unit also.

I want to free it to replace the bearing cage o-ring.

You have to undo the two bolts seen down in the prop shaft carrier and then pull the carrier out with a special puller. Do you have an OEM manual ? Tells all in there.
