hi all just wondering if theirs an easy way to remove a bearing carrier on my 1978 115hp johnson,its probably never been removed in its life,tried heat after soaking in wd-40.any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Assuming that you do not have the special Bob Kerr carrier puller, the next best bet is to have a heavy duty slide hammer with a hook on the end of the rod that will grab the carrier housing lobe.
