bearing question

Anyone got a spec sheet for bearing diameters?

I'm rebuilding (and I'm the perfectionist type.) With the rebuild (plus preventative work) I'm nearing the $1000 mark for parts and block work alone. As far as wrist pin bearings, rod bearings and the upper crank bearing, I'd like to know if their is a tolerance for the individual pin diameters. If so, I may reuse parts that are well within tolerance.

crank case sealing rings... I'd like to know the specs on those too.

Thanks in advance!

Re: bearing question

I reused all the bearing except wristpin when I rebuilt my 1986 110 Johnson. I still have it and it has been the best engine I have ever had.

Re: bearing question

Those bearings are so hard that if they look good, they are. The bearing is much harder than the crank. If the crank surface is OK, so are the bearings. Water (rust) is about the only thing that bothers them.
