beeping noise from battery compartment

After replacing both batteries on my 2007 115 4 stroke Mercury, I'm still hearing 4 consecutive beeps approx 2 minutes apart

Doubt the motor has anything to do with beeps if its coming from the battery compartment. What boat is the motor installed on?

There is several post on the web about 4 beeps every 2 minutes and they all go back to the oil tank is low, or the switch in the oil tank is bad.

Don't know why your 4 stroke would have an oil tank

Just found could also be water in the fuel
