Beer and Fishing???

Just wanted to check the laws out before I got busted and got into trouble since im new to this thing. What are the laws with beer and fishing? Is it like a vehicle (no opened containers)? Or is it ok just as long as the driver doesn't drink? I live in FL if it helps any. Thanks guys. Thought I'd be safe than sorry.

I would think it varies by location, even more specific than state. For example, here in GA, you can't have any beer (opened or not) in state parks so if you're fishing a small lake within a state park, no beer allowed at all. There are also BUI laws with similar blood alchohol levels as DUI. I would suggest checking w/local authorities & regardless of law, make sure 1 or 2 folks on-board remain sober to drive the boat. Better yet, save the brew for the campsite or after getting home after day of fishing is done (not trying to preach, just offer my opinion).
