Bell Housing Synthane Washer Thickness

Does anyone know what the thickness of the synthane washer are supposed to be when new? I just reinstalled my bell housing after doing my bellows job and found I have some side to side play on the hinge pins. The synthane washers are silver colered so I'm wondering if they are worn down and full of metal. I don't see any signs of excessive wear on the castings themselves. I ordered new washers, but while I wait for them, I'm wondering if they are gonna be super thin like the ones I have, or if they will be thicker and fix the issue.

I can't find any thickness info on the web.

Don't know, but they are thin. With side play, probably have other issues depending on how much

New washers showed up today. They are quite a bit thicker than my old ones.. I didn't have a chance to install them yet, hopefully tomorrow, then I'll report back.
