bellows glue for merc

if i cant get a hold of tube of bellows glue what can i use in its place to compensate for it and do the same job. i have a can of gasket since will that work the same. trying to finish my gimbal and transom seal to be on water by the end of my 96 hr special liberty from the navy since its the 4th this weekend thanks.

You should find bellows adheasive at West Marine. Marketed by Sierra. Failing that, bellows adheasive is just contact cement. That should do you fine.

thanks havasu ya when i removed it it looked liek the bellows glue is actually just used to tack the boot in place so it wont slide off on u while u insert the collar. jim learing to love this site u and everone else has experienced this stuff themselves hands on im still learing boat works jsut cant wait to get on the water again jsut regestered boat in my name today so hoping to hite water by mon. back to work on tues and work i work hard play harder. typical guy. have a good 4th
