Happy holidays everyone

I am in the process of trying to replacing all the bellows, gimbal bearing, trim switches, and shift cable.

I got everything out .

This whole thing is no easy job.

My question is (manual not specific about this) what should I start installing first:

First- Water hose to both ends of gimbal housing and bell housing.

Second- Ujoint bellow, exhaust bellow and shift cable bellow into gimbal housing?

Third- Shift cable and ALL bellows (hopefully) into to bell housing.

Thanks
Gabriel

Re: Bellows installation

Ujoint bellows on bellhousing
Hose on gimbal housing side.
Exhaust bellows on gimbal housing.
Hose on bellhousing
Cable thru bell housing thru bellows thru gimbal housing
Cable bellows to gimbal housing
Ujoint bellows on gimbal housing
BH attached to GH
Exhaust bellows to GH

Pay attention to clamp location on all clamps.

Re: Bellows installation

Thanks for the info Don .
As soon as it warms up I am going to give it a try.
And I thought my job was hard :%

Does this clamp position looks correct to you:

Gimbal Housing
ujoint clamp-3 o'clock
shift clamp 4 o'clock
exhaust clamp 12 o'clock

bell housing
ujoint clamp 8 o'clock
exhaust clamp 9 o'clock
shift-crimped

Re: Bellows installation

Look in the service manual it SHOWS you how to position them.
I gave you the link to it in your previous post.
