Belt removal

My power steering belt snapped, seemed to be of old age (cracked and worn). How the heck do i get a new one on? Boat is a 1980 SBC 5.0. Seems the whole engine mount is around the belts, I'm just wondering if there is an easier way to do this.

My Answer, I don't know. Sounds like you will have to undo the mount. I just did an advanced search for "Belt" and there are quite a few posts. You should do a search. I do want to mention that pulling the drive and checking / adjusting alignment should probably follow the belt replacement.
