Belt size question?

I'm looking to find an exact measurement (in inches) of the main alternator/water pump/crankshaft belt for a Volvo AQ-131d. Napa was able to cross reference a suitable replacement a few years ago, but that belt has snapped and I need to pick up another one tomorrow.

Take piece of 3/8" rope, with the adjustment bracket in mid position wrap the rope around the pullys and it'l get you pretty close, or go to the belt buying section here at iboats and see if it gives you the size, something like 4L3605.

I'll run out,+ pull 1 off to measure it for you,...
Is that the Inside or Outside length you want,..??
I'll haveta grab my glasses if you want it Exact, in inches....

Probably look it up by application,.. Especially if you give them the serial #...

got this online, wrap the rope around the pulleys and measure how long, see if its 43.5".

I pulled up the belt for 89 aq131 on napa site. Specs showed length above.

Better yet go and buy a bunch of belts that you think will fit and see which one fits and return the others.

Or you can go by this:

Volvo 966 382 9.5 X 1100 La 6135


One of those numbers should make sense.
