Bennette trim tabs

I just recently bought my first offshore style fishing boat. A Concept30 PF: my question is I'm having trouble w/ the trim tabs (Bennette). They sometime work & sometimes don't. When I push the trim tap switches the cylinoids on the hydrualic motor you can feel geeting hot like their trying to engage the pump but the tabs won't move. Then again sometimes they will work. Does anyone know of an idea that will eliminate replacing the entire system. I have checked for loose wires, there is plenty of fluid inside the pump. Any information will greatly appreciated.

Check out the Bennett web page Bennett Marine they have a troubleshooting section and if that doesn't help shoot them an email because they have the best customer service people I've ever dealt with.

Thanks Bob, I had looked on their web page for any information but I guess I just never seen their troubleshooting section. I'll check it out.
