Bent Skeg on Evinrude

Hit a log yesterday and bent the skeg slightly. Any repair suggestions?:facepalm:

The skeg is only to protect the prop...if only bent slightly...leave it. A picture might tell a better story however.

Agree with Mas, only job is to kick the motor up if there is a rock/log etc.... What model is it though? If it has a removable you could get a replacement off of a parts motor. A skeg guard is another option, google it, but these are only needed if the damage is pretty severe, personally if it is minor I would leave it.
