Bent Skeg?

Noticed that the skeg on the lower unit of my 1981 Johnson 115 is bent slightly to the port side. I assume that this has been damaged and should be fixed, but didn't know if it was supposed to be like that for a reason? First time powerboat owner, can you tell?

Just did a search. Bent skegs are common, should be straight and needs to be repaired. Answered my own stupid question.
