Hello,

I have a 92 skeeter ss90 with a 60hp Johnson model vj60tlene. I took my boat in for a tune-up and a new water pump at the start of the year. When I got it back the #2 and #3 carbs were leaking gas. I took it back to the shop and they took it apart again and said none of the floats were sticking and no needles were blown, so they have no clue what they did. I know it's not the overflow leaking because it does it at running tilt, and the seal between the carbs and the air box is wet. It doesn’t leak much just a couple of table spoons, but I'm worried about the gas going into the water and possibly making it's way back to the plugs and BOOM. The only good side to it is I know the VRO is working because the gas is blue green:D I have been running the boat and it does fine Any ideas?

float miss adjusted, not closing the needle all the way.

If you're saying it leaks when in the tilted position, the floats could be set a tad high. As you tilt the motor the floats tend to release pressure on the needles.
