Greetings again! I am working on another post too and I have a question that will help me on that one, since it is a A/B question I figured I would start a new post.

I have a 1989 Force 125. Prestolite ignition system.
The place where I am getting my used flywheel from called me today and said that they didn't ship my flywheel yet because there are two different flywheels available. One with a "band" style magnet and the other has 5 or 6 magnets going around it.

Which one is better??? I want to make sure I get the best one. I currently have the "band" style magnet.
They said that they flywheels are Identical other than that.

All answers are appreciated!

Thanks,

-Mark

No--they are not identical! The magnet type is for mercury ignition on later Force engines. You MUST use the band type magnetic strip.
