I need to bring a box of replacement glass fuses to my boat in another state, 86 Carver 2667. Best educated length... 20mm....or...30mm, Thanks, I'll crowd source the answer and of course its still 50/50 and a box of fuses is only 8 bucks, Thanks

As far as I know there are only 2 lengths. Take some of both and return the the unopened package.

This is a little puzzling to me. If you don't know the actual size in length and or amperages, how do you know they are needing replaced? :noidea:

Unless the fuse are blown, a piece of sandpaper would clean them enough to work perfectly again. And if they are blown, then replacing them could cause them to blow again if the problems are not fixed. I am confused... JMHO

I'm not going to replace them, but it sounds like a cheap, small, and lightweight spare(s) to have aboard. I usually blow them when I'm actually doing wiring jobs, sometimes quite a few. I found blade fuses at an Auto supply for almost 2 bucks a pc.... I ordered a box of same for about 8 cents a pc. Of course if I badly needed the fuse I would be glad it was there at any price. I do give the Auto supply and the Marina all the business I can afford. They need it.

I,ve seen the cheap knockoff fuses. The quality is not there, regardless, you should be able to find quality ones for less that 2 bucks apiece.
